In-order to provide World of Adventure Vacations clients with the best services it is necessary to use different divisions of our company. These divisions’ names or DBA’s are available upon written request. For the Terms and Responsibilities below all DBA’s shall hereafter be referred to as "The Agency."
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT: A deposit of 25% per-person is due for all travel within 10 days of booking plus whatever additional deposit(s) may be required by some suppliers/outfitters. Bookings are automatically canceled if deposits are not received within allotted time. BALANCE DUE 60 days prior to departure. If payment is by credit card or check, the client must complete a signed copy of the invoice.
CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be in writing. Refund of deposit less $100.00 per person processing fee will be made up to 75 days prior to departure. Cancellations received after that date would be subject to a forfeiture of entire amount. Cancellations prior to departure will be subject to forfeiture of entire amount pending resale of space to another eligible participant. In this event, a refund less $100 will be paid. In some cases, the cancellation clause listed above may not apply and be more severe. Cancellations vary with hotels, operators, outfitters, airlines, and other suppliers. These variations may require other forfeitures regardless of date of cancellation.
If a reservation includes scheduled air, the cancellation fee shall include the cancellation fee plus any fees charged by the airline based on the restrictions of the particular ticket purchased. In most cases, the air portion is non-refundable, but reusable with an exchange fee to be determined at the time of the transaction. Cancellation on date of departure, or no-show will not receive any refund. Once travel commences, unused portions of the package are non-refundable. CANCELLATION INSURANCE is available through The Agency.
INSURANCE: A Basic travel protection plan is automatically included in your package and must be paid for within 10 days of the booking of the trip to receive full benefits of the policy. Trip insurance is highly recommended. Details will be sent with your trip confirmation, if no information has been sent it is the clients responsibility to inquire and request additional information. Note: The Travel Protection Plan is contracted by an outside company, then provided by the agency and does not cover diving related injuries, it is therefore recommended that you purchase additional medical insurance for any activity.
CHANGE FEES: A $25.00 charge will be added for any change made after the initial booking has been processed.
These trips are under the management of The Agency, who has made all arrangements for accommodations and services furnished in connection with these trips. The Agency shall be responsible to the participant for supplying the services and accommodations offered as listed on this invoice, except to the extent such services and accommodations cannot be supplied due to delays or other causes beyond the control of The Agency. In the event the services and accommodations set forth cannot be supplied due to delays or other causes beyond the control of The Agency, it will use its best effort to supply comparable services or accommodations. The participant waives any claim against The Agency for any damage to or loss of property, or injury to or death of person due to any act of negligence of any airline, hotel, or any other persons rendering any of the services and accommodations included in the ground part of the itinerary. The Agency shall not be responsible for any delays, substitution of equipment or any act or omission whatsoever by the carrier, its agents, servants and employees and participant hereby waives any claim arising therefrom. The right of participant is reserved to claims against the carrier. The Agency reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any participant as a member of these trips at any time. If any participant is removed from a tour, a proportionate refund of recoverable unused services will be made. In the event a trip is canceled, The Agency shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all deposits made and moneys paid to The Agency by participant. Itemized cost statements are not provided.
The airline concerned is not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their aircraft. The passenger contract in use by the airline, when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and purchasers of these tickets.
Your travel documents will be shipped approximately 15 days prior to departure via 2-day service. No documents will be shipped if there is a balance due on your account. For bookings made within 21 days of departure, a late booking fee of a minimum of $25.00 must be charged for overnight shipping of travel documents and checks to suppliers. You may request to have documents shipped overnight at any time for a nominal fee.
In many cases, The Agency has special fares with the air carriers. These special fares, however, have several restrictions. Once airline tickets have been issued, these tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE without total loss or if changed, a substantial penalty. DO NOT LOSE THE TICKET. IT CANNOT BE REPLACED. A NEW ONE WILL HAVE TO BE PURCHASED AND A LOST-TICKET ORDER FILED and a processing fee charged.
