Lanai

Lanai is a small, quiet island off the coast of Maui.  Lanai is easily reached by air or by daily ferry from Lahaina Harbor in Maui.  There are two outstanding golf courses on Lanai, the Jack Nicklaus designed Challenge at Manele and the Greg Norman designed Experience at Koele.

Manele Bay HotelManele Bay Hotel- The Manele Bay Hotel is perched atop dramatic, windswept red lava cliffs overlooking Hulopo'e Beach, the island's finest sugar-white sand beach.  This grand seaside villa encompasses intimate courtyards filled with lush tropical gardens, abounding waterfalls, tranquil pools and aromatic flowers.  Activities include tennis, fitness center, spa, water sports and horseback riding.
The Challenge at Manele Golf CourseThe Challenge at Manele Golf Course- The Challenge at Manele was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1993.  This links-style course was built on natural lava outcroppings and features natural gorges and ravines.  One of three holes constructed on the cliffs of Hulopoe Bay, its spectacular par-three signature hole plays from a cliff 150 feet above the crashing surf and requires a demanding 200 yard tee shot across the ocean.
The Lodge at KoeleThe Lodge at Koele- The Lodge at Koele possesses the relaxed yet refined atmosphere of a plantation owner's home.   Fireplaces and oversized furnishings encourage intimate conversation and social gatherings.  Enjoy horseback riding, a game of tennis, or test your skills with some lawn bowling or croquet.  There are two 18-hole championship golf courses as well as an 18-hole Executive Putting Course.
The Experience at KoeleThe Experience at Koele- The Experience at Koele was designed by Greg Norman and Ted Robinson in 1991 and is located in the center of Lanai.  With its signature hole that drops 250 feet to a wooded gorge below, it winds through stands of Cook Island pine trees and indigenous plants.  The course provides panoramic views of Molokai and Maui from the very heights of the island.
