Itinerary:
Arrive in Honolulu on Sunday. Depart from Honolulu for Majuro, Marshall Islands on
Monday aboard a Continental Micronesia Boeing
727. Cross the
International Dateline and arrive in Majuro Tuesday afternoon. Overnight in Majuro. Depart
for Bikini Atoll Wednesday morning. Spend seven nights on Bikini departing the following
Wednesday at approximately 12 noon. Arrive in Majuro Wednesday in time to connect with the
Wednesday evening Continental Micronesia flight to Honolulu at 2:00 AM on Wednesday
morning (returning across the dateline).
Trip Schedule:
All trips to Bikini Atoll are based on scheduled air flights departing Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands on Wednesday mornings and returning the following Wednesday afternoon. The first scheduled trip to Bikini Atoll in 1998 departs Wednesday February 4th and returns to Majuro February 11th. Trips continue on this Wednesday to Wednesday schedule until November 4th, 1998. Remember, you must arrive in Honolulu by the Sunday prior to your trip in order to connect with the scheduled flight to Majuro on Monday mornings.
